Thursday Randoms

This post is sure to be a hodge podge of random thoughts in my head..


Lately I feel like Addaline is turning into this 'grown' child I don't know, and I don't like it. Not to mention, she turns 4 next Tuesday {someone feel free to email me something funny that day, to drown my sorrows} :( That means she's growing up, and there is NOTHING I can do to stop it. The other day she came home from preschool, walked right into the kitchen, sat down to eat her lunch, and turned the TV to the SPEED channel, to watch motorcycle racing. WHO is this child? Seriously? Gerrad loves motorcycles, and watches this crap excellent programming all the time, obviously my girl has picked up on that. Lord help me, soon I'm going to be outnumbered I think. Macie has always been my more calm child, with such a sweet and nurturing personality, Addaline equals TOTAL OPPOSITE. The girl says things that sometimes make me want to crawl under a rock and hide for a while. In my mom's words in reference to my children, God certainly has a sense of humor!


Gerrad turns 30 on Sunday! THIRTY! He is insisting that I not make it a big deal, which is SO him. I wanted to have our closest friends and family over to our house for dinner Saturday evening, but he vetoed that idea, stating he would just rather go to dinner with just the girls and I. Can we say PARTY POOPER?! That doesn't mean I still can't shower him with super exciting gifts! 

I have been OBSESSIVELY watching Friday Night Lights the past month or so. It's ridiculous that just from seeing some of you gals talk about it on twitter, I decided I should give it a go, and sure enough, I'm hooked. And now I'm sad it's not on anymore, ugh! I have managed to watch the first 4 seasons, and am not so patiently, waiting for the 5th season to come in the mail, because God forbid it be available on instant que like the rest of the darn show. Side note, we sang this song for praise and worship at church, and I was SOOOO excited when I heard it on FNL. Can't stop listening to it.

Pinterest... Oh Pinterest, you dirty little time suck. Browsing Pinterest daily has made me want to redo pretty much everything in my house. I don't think this will sit well with Gerrad ;) I have found quite a few fun fall decor ideas, so look out Hall house, you're getting decked out this weekend. {In between soccer games, birthday dinners, school carnivals, church, etc...}

Let's hope I don't go to jail for broadcasting the next statement... Someone told G about these 2 websites that sell 'authentic' sports jersey's, designer handbags, uggs, tennis shoes for men, women and children, and a plethora of other things, and I can't stop adding things to my shopping cart. It's nice because everything is the same price (all men and womens tennis shoes- $40, kids- $35, handbags-$38, chi hair straighteners-$25) When it comes time to order, I don't think everything will get to remain in the cart when G sees it, whoops! But really? You can't really beat Uggs for $60-$70, yes please! {If you want the name of the websites, email me or comment here and I'll send it to you}
