Chuck'E'Cheese's Fun!

Last night was Macie's school night at Chuck'E'Cheese's. We had a great time, amidst all the CHAOS that typically goes along with that place! Since Addaline and I are home all day during the week, we usually spend it in our sweats, so I had to get her dolled up a bit just for fun. Here she is modeling for me before we left, she's too funny!

Her serious pose, what a ham like her big sister!

Being silly!!

SUCH a doll baby. My girls are both so beautiful and I'm TERRIFIED for the time they grow up and start dating. Lord please start giving me the strength to deal with my husband through that time, ha ha!!

Macie on the Kentucky Derby horse ride

My girls

Macie working hard on one of the rides

This is the best solo picture I could get of Macie the whole night. When I try to take pictures of her lately, she is making faces like the pictures below, GOOF BALL!

We're going to have to practice not making silly faces, even though I crack up every time she does it!

My friend Melisa and her daughter Makenna

Daddy and daughter

Mommy and daughter

The girls and I actually got a super cute picture in the picture booth, I'll make sure to scan it and post it as well.

Its almost FRIDAY, YAY!!! Tonight my friend Jenna is coming over to attempt to teach me how to make a pillowcase dress, this could be VERY interesting. I'm SUCH a perfectionist I'm terrified its going to take me FOREVER to get it right. I'll make sure to take lots of pics and post them tomorrow of how far I got with this dress. Wish me luck!!

My Celeb Crushes

**Disclaimer**- This post isn't going to be super moving or anything. I wanted to do something a little different, change it up a bit, have a little fun! Want to join in? Feel free! Post your link in the comment section here so I can check them out!

So I got this idea from Kelly over at 'Keeping Up With Kelly & Co' and wanted to play along!!

With out further adieu- here are my celebrity crushes!!

Eric Dane aka 'Mc Steamy.' We went and saw him in the movie 'Valentine's Day' recently and the first scene was of him with his shirt off, AHHH! Enough Said! You can find this eye candy weekly, on Grey's Anatomy!

Bradley Cooper- but only Bradley Cooper when he is grungy (like he is in this picture). I don't like his short hair/clean shaven look. If you haven't seen 'The Hangover,' your missing out on his best look EVER!

Luke Bryan- he's a country singer who is exceptionally good looking, plus has an amazing voice to boot!

Jason Aldean- also a country singer. He isn't drop dead gorgeous to me, but has an amazing voice, and there is just something about his look that I like.

Zac Efron- This crush is probably borderline inappropriate since he is a bit younger than me, but oh well :) In the movie '17 Again' he was just too cute!!

So who are your celebrity crushes? Come on now ladies, you know we all have them!!!

Gerrad loves Megan Fox and Jewel. I find Jewel kind of random, and she has crazy teeth, but to each his own, huh?! HA HA!

The Bachelor Recap

Last nights episode was The Women Tell All, and boy were they talkative. The Women Tell All group included Kathryn, Emily, Channy, Ella, Ashley, Valisha, Ashleigh, Corrie, Christina, Jessie, Elizabeth, Michelle, Ali and Gia – all back to dish the dirt. I'm going to just give a rundown about some things the girls said, and some of my favorite moments. Next week I'm kind of afraid to watch the episode, I might want to strangle Jake! :)

I love how Ashleigh tried to say she practiced her fall in order to make an impression, PLEASE girl!! Then said she regretted calling Vienna “white trash,” I wouldn't regret that honey, the truth hurts!

Jessie says she saw Rozlyn and the producer making out to a huge reaction from the women. Ella then reveals that she saw Rozlyn on all fours with her butt in the air and asked that if the producer comes she needs to be put to bed. WOW…I honestly have no response to that.

Ali admits she was hoping Jake would come and find her and that she was disappointed when he didn’t, but at the end of the day, she couldn’t risk losing her job. Ali said that if she could do it again, she would choose love over her job. Finally, she apologized about how mean she was to Vienna and feels bad about the way Vienna is being trashed. Again, I have a hard time feeling sorry for Vienna, action causes reaction honey!

Rozlyn returns, which looked like it shocked quite a few of the other women. She denied the alleged affair with the producer and asks why no footage exists. Chris Harrison tells her he has no ill will and she says she was prepared for a cage match (obviously joking!). At this point, Chris tells her to tell the truth. Rozlyn looks pensive and finally agrees. She says that she was just friends with the producer and that there was nothing inappropriate while filming went on in her hometown. No one is buying it. Chris presses her, pleading with Rozlyn to tell the truth. Rozlyn fights with Ella about what happened, and is 'shocked' that Ella would say those things. Valisha recounts a story where was sick and couldn’t find Rozlyn, but Rozlyn says she is surprised there is no footage of scandal. Gia tells her that she should have admitted she was in love with someone else and left and Rozlyn says that wasn’t the case. She accuses Chris of hitting on the producer’s wife in New Zealand! Let's back it up to when she says the producers WIFE! Hold the phone! So he is married?? Dah dah dah, the plot thickens!!

The whole Jake and Ali thing really kind of made me feel bad, again. He looked like he was going to get a little choked up, but stopped himself. I really think they had an immediate connection and she totally messed that up. He said he was seriously hoping she would have gotten out of the limo, no such luck :( She apologized to him for leaving, but that was about all that was said between the two of them, other than Jake saying she would ALWAYS have a friend in him.
Gia talks about her lack of admission of her feelings for Jake. She said she knows that's her downfall and because she wasn't speaking up, and the other girls were, she knew she'd be the next to go.

Most of the women seemed to have toned it down about Vienna which kind of disappointed me, who doesn't like a good cat fight, ha ha!
I'm more than a little antsy for the finale next week. This is my opinion only, take it for what its worth, if he doesn't pick Tenley, which I know we've all heard he doesn't, I'd rather see him pick no one!! Jake and Tenley are a FAR better match than Jake and Vienna, unfortunately I don't think he sees that at this time!

Out of Touch

The lyrics to Hall & Oates song 'Out of Touch' keep popping into my head today: "You're out of touch, I'm out of time"

I have been SUPER busy this weekend with getting things ready for an upcoming baby shower that I'm co-hosting, getting bows, tutu outfits and shirts made for orders, making bows for the Farmers Market that starts in April here in town, trying to run Macie all over the town with her activities and sleepovers, shopping with friends, dinner with hubby, etc... Its been a constant go, go, go weekend, WHEW! I'm like 4 days behind on blogs, I feel like a terrible 'blog friend' this week! I promise I will catch up on all my blogs and get back to you sweet friends who have commented!

I made up a facebook page for TuTu Cute by Molly... so if you're on facebook, or even if you're not and want to check it out, you can do so by clicking HERE!!

The shower that I'm co-hosting this weekend is for one of my good friends Chelsey, who is a blogger as well so I don't want to post the entire thing that I made for her. She is due with a sweet little boy named Jaxen at the end of April/beginning of May. Here is a sneak peek of something I'm pretty proud of, I think it turned out super cute :) Sorry Chelsey, that's all ya get!

Tonight its just Melisa and I to watch The Bachelor, but I'm sure we'll do plenty of smack talking and I'll have my recap tomorrow of what I think about all the girls coming back to 'Tell ALL'

Summer if you're reading this, here is your sweet girls shirt and bow! I tweaked the bow a little, hope you still like it :)

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I better get back to laundry and dishes, which have also fallen behind sometime over the past few weeks days!!

Amazing Pork Chop Recipe

I always have a really hard time finding quick and easy meals for our family, and lets face it people, I'm NO Betty Crocker! I did not learn all the wonderful tips from my mom to make the most yummy homemade dinners you've ever tasted. Darnit mom why didn't you tell me the importance of cooking earlier in life? HA HA! With that being said, yesterday I was scouring the inter webs for different recipes that we've never tried before and stumbled across this website. The recipe sounded easy enough, I wasn't 100% sold on the Dr Pepper thing, but I thought, what the heck, lets try it!

I made these pork chops for dinner tonight and let me just say... OH MY WORD! SO GOOD! I served it with red beans and rice, not over the rice as suggested in the recipe. The gravy you make out of the marinade, YUMMY!

Without further adieu:

Dr. Pepper Pork Chops (Crock Pot)

4-6 pork chops

1 can Dr. Pepper

12 oz ketchup or chili sauce

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce (I had to use steak sauce because by some random chance we were out of worcestershire sauce)

Salt and pepper to taste

Place all ingredients in the crock pot, and cook on low for 6 hours or until the pork chops are cooked through. Remove the chops and whisk in 1 tablespoon of cornstarch (or flour) to thicken the sauce into a gravy. Serve over rice.

(This is not my picture, its from the recipe website. I couldn't take credit :))

Please come back and let me know if you try it out and what you think!

You'll thank me later :)

The Bachelor Recap

Katie hosted girls night last night and boy did we need it. We skipped last weeks girls night because of few of the girls had prior commitments, I NEED my Monday nights. Its not the same to watch it alone and not be able to talk smack, ha ha!

Anyhow...Can you believe it, Bachelor fans? We're at the 'exotic/overnight' dates already. Only two more weeks until the end of Jake's journey! I guess time really flies when you're watching someone else's emotional train wreck, doesn't it?

I'm still not over the whole Ali leaving so dramatically thing. That really ticked me off and made me not even want to watch the show anymore (YEAH RIGHT). She was my favorite from day 1, and I think she really made a mistake by leaving. When he was on the beach at the beginning of the episode walking around thinking about Ali, the 'one that got away', I was secretly hoping he'd let her come back. I mean, Jillian let Ed come back on The Bachelorette and they're engaged, so why not? I read this somewhere and it cracked me up, that Gia was the unnamed 3rd bachelorette who got Ali's rose by default... I couldn't agree more, WHOOPS!

Their date was pretty insignificant and I really could care less about that girl, I haven't liked her from the start. We decided last night that she always sounds like she is drunk when she talks, which is odd. She mumbles all the time and has a funky accent, which is odd since she is from New York, not China! I'm glad he decided to send her home at the rose ceremony, although to be quite honest, I'd keep her over Vienna ANY DAY OF THE WEEK!

Jake and Tenley's date was pretty cute! I like how they did the helicopter ride and spent quite a bit of time chatting. I was getting highly annoyed at her talking about her ex-husband a bit too much, but thankfully this week she did it more in her solo interview time than she did while actually on her date with Jake. I was glad she decided to accept the overnight date with him as well, you could tell that was a major deal for her and she was really struggling with that decision. I'm DEFINITELY glad he kept her around at the rose ceremony, she's my 2nd favorite (after Ali), so if Ali can't win, I'd rather it be Tenley!

Oh Vienna... UGH! I'm SO over her. Each and every week I have to continue to watch her on the show, is a week too long! She is borderline inappropriate with her dad and their 'weird' close relationship. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm close with my dad and talk to him daily, but their relationship seemed rather ODD! That should have given it away to Jake RIGHT AWAY! But no, he keeps her around over and over. She acts trampy every time they are around each other which is highly annoying as well. I think its just her general personality and looks that really work my nerves. I honestly would have been fine fast forwarding through their one on one date last night, that's how much I care about her! He of course kept her around again at the rose ceremony, but for a second I got my hopes up thinking he'd send her home!

***SPOILER ALERT*** If you haven't read any spoilers on The Bachelor and who he chooses, STOP READING THIS NOW!

I have done really well and haven't read anything this entire time that The Bachelor has been going on. Katie always fills us in at our weekly gatherings about what she has read and who he is rumored to pick, etc... I always take her word for it and become highly disappointed in his choice. I actually did read a few things on Sunday, I couldn't resist and had to see for myself, NOT COOL! He is rumored to pick Vienna over Tenley in the finale; my life is OVER, ha ha! All the websites say that he picks Vienna, but no one has been able to confirm if they are in fact, still together or not. I'm pulling for the latter! The O.N.L.Y good news I got from the tabloid spoilers is that Ali is set to be the next Bachelorette, and for that I am grateful!

So who are you pulling for? If in fact the rumors are that, just rumors, than I can still hold out hope that he ends up with Tenley!

Head on over to Lindsey's blog to check out her recap!

Valentine's Day

Gerrad and I celebrated our Valentine's day Saturday night with some great friends and had a wonderful time. We kept referring to it as a marathon date night, because we went to a movie first, then dinner, then to an improv comedy show to top off the night!

We started our evening with the 7pm showing of 'Valentine's Day'... yes that was kind of cliche and cheesy for us to see that, but Melisa and I didn't care, we wanted to see it so this was our perfect opportunity! I won't give too much away about the movie in case some of you readers want to see it and haven't had the chance. It was a WONDERFUL movie with lots of cute little love stories. Oh and the added bonus, lots of eye candy ladies, LOTS :)

Here are the 4 of us getting ready to head out for the evening. Gerrad, me, Adam and Melisa. Adam always gives me a hard time that I like to take so many pictures, he kept referring to this shot, and a few others, as our 'prom pictures.' This blog is like my digital scrapbook so I like to capture everything!

Adam and Melisa at the restaurant. Melisa was sparkle-rific and looked too cute!

Melisa and I at the restaurant.

Gerrad and I at dinner, I LOVED his pink tie!

I had to have a 'whole outfit' picture for ya'll :)

SUPER cute shoes I have to reluctantly give back to Melisa, ha ha!

After dinner we headed to the improv comedy show where I failed to take any pictures. It was SUCH a wonderful Valentine's Day Eve, night!

My wonderful husband surprised me more than I could have ever imagined Sunday morning before church. He went to take our babysitter home (a sweet teenager who spent the night so we didn't have to take her home at 1am), and came home with my favorite coffee drink and a bagel, and a gold colored bag from KAY JEWELERS :) YAY!!

He got me an 'Open Heart' bracelet for my birthday this past year, he loves that collection. So this year for Valentine's Day he got me an 'Open Heart' ring and a pair of earrings (which I neglected to take a picture of somehow) and a diamond heart necklace!

I am SO blessed with the most wonderful and appreciative man!

I got him new Taylor Made 3 and 5 wood golf clubs. Now his new set is complete and this nice wifey is DONE buying golf accessories :)

I snapped some SUPER adorable pictures of the girls on Valentine's Day so I'll post those tomorrow for 'Wordless Wednesday' and I'll still be posting my Bachelor recap later! Hope all of you had a wonderful Valentine's Day and spent it with the one's you love most!

Superbowl Sunday

This past Superbowl Sunday we had a group of our best friends over to watch the game, chat and enjoy some good food. Everyone brought some type of food, we didn't pick a theme or anything, just said 'Everyone bring something' and we ended up with lots of good stuff.

We've developed wonderful friendships through our church (as I've mentioned before) and spend pretty much every weekend with this group of friends. We always have such a great time, and genuinely enjoy each others company. Its like one big family :)

Here is almost everyone hanging out in the basement. We were missing the birthday girl, Melisa because she was working in KC that day. Her husband and sweet daughter still came to join in on the fun though!

Makenna (Melisa and Adam's daughter)

Addaline's BFF Emma being cheesy!

The older girls... Macie, Makenna, Emma and Addaline

One of the sweet babies, Adelyn. She is SO precious!

Tracy (Emma's mom) brought over a shirt for Addaline, SO cute. The girls had matching "I Love my BFF" shirts, how cute are they?!

"Cheese" is what they were saying here, they're so stinkin' adorable when they play together. They're so nice and loving, always share (most of the time, ha ha) and just love each other, like sisters.

Another one of the sweet babies, Londyn, rocking her 'Hollywood' shades, what a doll!

Miss Londyn again!

I think I maybe watched a total of like 5 mins of the game. As you can see in the first picture, I was on damage control watching Addaline drag out every toy she owns to play with and string all over the house, ha ha! And between holding the 2 cutie babies that were there, I didn't get much cleaning up done obviously. Our friends Aaron and Tracy are pregnant with a 2nd little girl (Emma will be a big sister) Zoie who is due in June. I can't wait to snuggle another sweet little baby. This group of friends are mostly all just starting out having babies, and SOMETIMES give me the urge to want another one (I can't believe I said that out loud), but I think I'll just enjoy snuggling all these sweet little girls and continue to enjoy my uninterrupted 8-10 hours of sleep at night ;)
