Every Wednesday night for our youth group at church 'One Way' we've been singing a song called 'Sustained' by the group Everybodyduck. It struck a cord with me last night and has been on my mind ever since. About all the things I'm sustained by...

I'm sustained by knowing I have a God who will love me no matter what and forgives me for my past and anything I've done to sin against him in my daily life

I'm sustained by knowing that I have a husband who adores me and treats me the way a woman deserves to be treated, to be loved by someone who is truly my best friend

I'm sustained by knowing that I get to wake up every day to 2 beautiful blonde girls who call me their mother.... there is SO much hurt in the world and I feel truly blessed to have my 2 miracles
I'm sustained by knowing I have a roof over my head and food in my mouth any time I am hungry, another thing that SO many people don't even have in these tough economic times

There are so many things I could go on and on about, but when it comes down to it none of these things would be possible without God. Sometimes I question writing blog posts that are too 'preachy' or too spiritual, that's my own insecurities feeling like I'll offend someone or go too overboard. These past few years have been amazing for our family and I just can't help but be forever grateful to the one who created us all.

On another note... this weekend we have some really exciting things going on but I can't blog about it just yet in case my hubby reads this in the next 24 hours or so. I planned a SUPER fun over night trip for us tomorrow night for his birthday and for our soon to be 2 year old whose birthday is Sunday. I'll make sure and take LOTS of pictures and blog about it after this weekend.

Macie starts rehearsing for the Nutcracker this weekend as well and will be doing so every Saturday for the next 2 months. I'm so proud of my little ballerina for making the Nutcracker again this year, she is such a phenomenal dancer!

I hope everyone has a great weekend! Happy Birthday Gerrad and Addaline, I love you both SOO much!

That is so wonderful, Molly ~ don't hold anything back. Rather than worrying about offending someone ~ just think... you may be touching the hearts of many who are reading. Those one or two (or more) blog posts just may be what it takes to get someone in touch and become closer to God.

Happy Birthday Gerrad and Addaline! Have a fabulous weekend :)
