New Tattoo

So this Tuesday, on a total whim, I decided I was going to go and get a new tattoo. My friend Melisa and I have been talking for a few weeks about getting tattoos on our wrists, and were planning to go together. Tuesday rolled around, and since I was off all week, I just decided I'd go for it! I took the girls to my mom's and went to the tattoo parlor right when they opened in hopes of them squeezing me in. Those of you who have tattoos, know you kind of have to go while the gettin' is good, meaning you have to go while you still have the gumption to do it :) So that's what I did! They worked me right in and even had the EXACT tat that I wanted in their book so I didn't have to try to describe it and have them help me look it up online.

Its an ambigram tattoo, meaning it can be read right side up and upside down. It reads 'Faith' in case you're having trouble making out my lovely cell phone quality picture. I got this one on my right wrist, and wanted to get 'Love' on my left wrist, but they didn't have the exact font of this one, so I passed on it and will go back sometime in the near future to have it done.

I'm not a HUGE tattoo person, my other 3 tattoos I have don't have a lot of meaning or thought put into them, and I definitely regret a few of them. I really love this one and am so pleased with how it turned out!

I hope everyone is having a GREAT week. I'll be posting later about our St Patty's day with lots of pictures!

I love it! Super cute and I love how you can read it both ways!! I love the idea of getting tats with meaning behind them! I have one and it was at senior week at the beach when I was um 18 and the group of cheerleading friends and I (8) of us decided to get the same teddy bear holding a daisy on our ankle! REALLY? is what I say to myself now LOL....I don't really like it! I love the idea of tats with meaning but the one I have um not much meaning behind it LOL....
